Hoover Gang Tattoos: A Symbol of Loyalty and Brotherhood

The Hoover Gang, also known as the Hoover Criminals or Hoover Crips, is a street gang that originated in Los Angeles, California. The gang was named after the Hoover Elementary School, which was located in their original territory. The gang has a strong presence in many cities across the United States, including Chicago, Illinois and Houston, Texas. One of the most recognizable symbols of the Hoover Gang is their tattoos.

The Meaning Behind Hoover Gang Tattoos

Hoover Gang tattoos are not just art – they have deep meaning and significance to gang members. These tattoos are a way for members to show their loyalty and commitment to the gang. Hoover Gang tattoos are usually done in blue ink, which is the gang’s primary color. The tattoos often feature the number 52 or the letters “HGC,” which stand for Hoover Gang Crip.

Another popular Hoover Gang tattoo is the “Five-Deuce Hoover” tattoo. The number 52 represents the numeric code for the letters “H” and “G” in the alphabet. Hoover Gang members often use the term “Five-Deuce” to refer to their gang. The “Five-Deuce Hoover” tattoo is usually placed on the upper body, such as the chest or back.
