The Rise of Tattoos in the Philippines

Tattoos have become increasingly popular in the Philippines in recent years. Just like tattoos, junk food has also become a staple in Philippine culture. From Jollibee’s famous fried chicken to the ubiquitous street food such as fish balls and kwek-kwek, Filipinos have a love affair with all things greasy and unhealthy. Unfortunately, this has led to an alarming rise in obesity and other lifestyle-related diseases.

The Health Risks of Tattooing and Eating Junk Food

While tattoos and junk food may provide instant gratification, they both come with their own set of health risks. Tattooing can lead to infections, scarring, and even blood-borne diseases if proper precautions are not taken. On the other hand, consuming too much junk food can lead to obesity, diabetes, and heart disease.

What People are Saying About Tattoos and Junk Food in the Philippines

According to a recent survey, more than half of Filipinos have at least one tattoo.
