The Tribute to his Grandmother
One of the most emotional tattoos on Reus’s body is the portrait of his grandmother on his right arm. Reus was very close to his grandmother, who passed away when he was just 16. The tattoo is a way for him to remember her and keep her close to his heart, both on and off the field.
The Lion Tattoo
The lion tattoo on Reus’s left arm is one of his most visible and striking tattoos. The lion represents strength, power, and courage, which are all qualities that Reus admires and tries to embody in his game. This tattoo is also a tribute to his zodiac sign, Leo.
The Quote from his Father
On his left arm, Reus has a tattoo that reads “No guts, no glory” in German. This quote is from his father and serves as a reminder to Reus to always give his all and never back down from a challenge. This mentality has helped him become one of the best footballers in the world.
The Tribute to his Daughter
In 2019, Reus became a father for the first time. To celebrate this milestone, he got a tattoo of his daughter’s name, Scarlette, on his right arm. The tattoo also features a small heart and a star, symbolizing the love and joy that his daughter brings to his life.
