In this article, we will explore the story behind 2B’s tattoo and what it means in the context of the game.

The Design of 2B’s Tattoo

2B’s tattoo is a simple black design that consists of a vertical line intersecting two horizontal lines, creating an image that resembles the Roman numeral II. The tattoo is located on her right shoulder, and it is prominently displayed throughout the game. Many players have speculated that the tattoo represents her designation as a combat model, but there is more to it than that.

The Significance of the Tattoo

According to the game’s lore, the tattoo is a symbol of 2B’s duty as an android. As a combat model, 2B’s primary objective is to eliminate any threat to humanity, even if it means sacrificing herself in the process. Her tattoo is a constant reminder of her duty, and the weight of that responsibility is something that she carries with her at all times.

The Emotional Impact of the Tattoo

The tattoo also has a deeper emotional significance for 2B. In the game’s storyline, it is revealed that she has a tragic past that is tied to her role as a combat model. She has been forced to carry out missions that involve killing other androids, and the guilt and trauma of those experiences weigh heavily on her. The tattoo serves as a symbol of her pain and suffering, a constant reminder of the things she has done and the things she has lost.
