Introduction
Spit first tattoo is a relatively new technique in the tattoo industry. It involves mixing saliva with tattoo ink before applying it to the skin. The idea behind this technique is that the enzymes in saliva help the ink to penetrate the skin more effectively, resulting in a more vibrant and longer-lasting tattoo. In this article, we will discuss everything you need to know about spit first tattoo, including its benefits, risks, and how to get it done.
The Benefits of Spit First Tattoo
One of the main benefits of spit first tattoo is that it can help to create a more vibrant and long-lasting tattoo. By mixing saliva with the ink, the enzymes in the saliva can break down the ink particles, making them smaller and more easily absorbed by the skin. This can result in a more even and consistent color, as well as a tattoo that will last for years.
Another benefit of spit first tattoo is that it can help to reduce the risk of infection. Tattoo artists who use this technique typically use their own saliva, which means that the ink is less likely to be contaminated with bacteria or other harmful pathogens.
The Risks of Spit First Tattoo
While spit first tattoo has its benefits, there are also some risks associated with this technique. One of the main risks is that it can increase the risk of infection if the artist is not careful. If the artist uses their saliva to mix the ink and then touches the tattoo with their hands, they can transfer bacteria from their mouth to the tattoo, which can lead to infection.
Another risk of spit first tattoo is that it can cause allergic reactions. Some people may be allergic to the enzymes in saliva, which can cause itching, redness, and swelling at the site of the tattoo. It is important to talk to your tattoo artist about any allergies you may have before getting a spit first tattoo.
How to Get a Spit First Tattoo
If you are interested in getting a spit first tattoo, there are a few things you should know. First, it is important to find a reputable tattoo artist who is experienced in this technique. Look for reviews and recommendations from other customers to ensure that the artist you choose is skilled and professional.
When you go in for your appointment, make sure to talk to the artist about the technique they will be using. Ask them about their experience with spit first tattoo and any precautions they take to reduce the risk of infection or allergic reactions.
During the tattooing process, the artist will mix their saliva with the ink and then apply it to your skin using a tattoo gun. They may also use a small amount of water to help the ink spread evenly. The tattooing process itself should be similar to any other tattoo, but you may notice that the ink goes in more easily and evenly.
