Best Place to Start a Sleeve Tattoo

Introduction

Getting a sleeve tattoo is a significant decision, and it is important to choose the right place to start. A sleeve tattoo is a large tattoo that covers the entire arm, from shoulder to wrist. It requires a lot of time, effort, and money. Therefore, selecting the best place to start is crucial.

Factors to Consider

Several factors should be considered when choosing the best place to start a sleeve tattoo. The first factor is the design. You should have a clear idea of what you want before you start. The second factor is the budget. Sleeve tattoos can be expensive, and you should be prepared to spend a significant amount of money. The third factor is the artist. You should choose an experienced and reputable artist who specializes in sleeve tattoos.

The Best Places to Start

There are several places on the arm where you can start a sleeve tattoo. The most popular places are the upper arm, the forearm, and the shoulder. Each of these places has its advantages and disadvantages.

The Upper Arm

The upper arm is a popular place to start a sleeve tattoo. It provides a large canvas for the design, and it is easy to cover up if needed. However, the upper arm can be painful, especially near the armpit. It can also be challenging to hide the tattoo if you work in a professional environment.

The Forearm

The forearm is another popular place to start a sleeve tattoo. It is less painful than the upper arm, and it is easier to hide if needed. However, the forearm has less space than the upper arm, so the design may need to be smaller or more intricate.

The Shoulder

The shoulder is a less common place to start a sleeve tattoo, but it can be a great option for certain designs. It provides a unique canvas for the tattoo and can be easily hidden if needed. However, the shoulder can be a painful area to tattoo, especially near the collarbone.
