Jesy Nelson’s Controversial Face Tattoo

The News

Former Little Mix member Jesy Nelson has made headlines once again, this time for getting a controversial face tattoo. The singer took to social media to share a photo of her new ink, which reads “icon” in bold, capital letters across her right eyebrow. The tattoo has sparked mixed reactions from fans and critics alike.

The Reaction

Many fans have expressed their love and support for Nelson’s new tattoo, with some calling it “bold” and “empowering.” However, others have criticized the singer for getting a face tattoo, saying it sets a bad example for young fans and could limit her career opportunities in the future. One Twitter user wrote, “I’m all for self-expression, but a face tattoo? That’s a bit extreme, don’t you think?” Another added, “I love Jesy, but this tattoo is a mistake. She’s going to regret it one day.”

The Inspiration

According to Nelson, the tattoo was inspired by her love of the word “icon” and her desire to embrace her own individuality. In an Instagram post, she wrote, “I don’t care if you don’t like it, it’s my face.” Nelson isn’t the first celebrity to get a face tattoo, however. Rapper Post Malone, singer Halsey, and even former Little Mix member Zayn Malik have all inked their faces in recent years.

The Risks

While face tattoos may be becoming more common in the entertainment industry, they still come with risks. Many tattoo artists are hesitant to ink someone’s face, as it can be difficult to cover up or remove if the person changes their mind. In addition, face tattoos can limit a person’s career opportunities, especially in industries that value a certain image or aesthetic. It remains to be seen how Nelson’s new tattoo will affect her future prospects in the music industry.

The Future

Despite the mixed reactions to her new tattoo, Nelson seems to be standing by her decision. She has continued to share photos and videos of herself on social media, showing off her new ink. Only time will tell how Nelson’s face tattoo will affect her career and public image. Regardless, it’s clear that the singer is determined to embrace her individuality and express herself in her own unique way.
