Orphan Black Cosima Tattoo

Orphan Black is a popular science fiction television series that aired from 2013 to 2017. The show revolves around a group of clones, each played by Tatiana Maslany. One of the most beloved characters on the show is Cosima Niehaus, a PhD student in experimental evolutionary developmental biology. Cosima is known for her distinctive tattoos, which have become a popular topic of discussion among fans of the show.

The Meaning Behind Cosima’s Tattoos

Cosima has several tattoos on her body, each with its own unique meaning. One of her most prominent tattoos is the image of a DNA strand on her inner forearm. This tattoo is a nod to her background in biology and her interest in genetics. Another tattoo that Cosima has is the word “Nietzsche” on her right bicep. This tattoo is a reference to the philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche, who believed in the concept of the “superman.” This idea of the superman is a recurring theme on the show, as the clones are all genetically engineered to be superior to normal humans.
