What is the Butterfly Project Tattoo?

The butterfly project tattoo is a symbol of hope and transformation. It is a tattoo that is designed to cover self-harm scars and serve as a reminder of the wearer’s journey towards healing. The tattoo is usually a butterfly with its wings spread out, representing freedom and the ability to overcome challenges.

Origins of the Butterfly Project Tattoo

The Butterfly Project began as a way to raise awareness about self-harm and to provide support to those who struggle with it. The project encourages people to draw a butterfly on their skin instead of harming themselves. If the person can keep the butterfly on their skin for a certain amount of time, it means that they have overcome the urge to harm themselves. The butterfly project tattoo is an extension of this concept, serving as a permanent reminder of the wearer’s journey towards healing.

Why Choose a Butterfly Project Tattoo?
